Job Purpose Responsible for the oversight and organization of all Customer Meter Service activities, including emergency response and customer meter-oriented services.
Manage a team of Supervisors with a focus on safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of electric work in the field.
Also works collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders to optimize operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities Promote the philosophy and development of safe team working practices across Customer Meter Services (CMS) to achieve business objectives and continuously improve performance.
Coordinate 911/Wires Down response during electric emergencies including operational response and stakeholder management to ensure public safety and/or service restoration.
Support business area by translating business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs or schedules.
Develop and sustain a labor relations strategy in conjunction with the Director of Labor Strategy, to improve operational flexibility and increase efficiencies.
Manage the hiring of direct reports, facilitate resolutions to workplace issues and provide consultation in these areas for below direct report level.
Prioritize work and allocate resources of the Customer Metering Services (CMS) team to ensure that the work plan is delivered.
Manage field operational process activities to achieve high productivity, low cost and efficient work practices.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in an analytical discipline is preferred with a minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
In lieu of degree, a minimum of 10 years equivalent experience in electric distribution, operations/construction field is preferred with experience in leadership/project management or SME role.
Translate business objectives into clearly defined costs.
Able to communicate clearly and succinctly and is effective in all manner of presentation settings.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to establish sustainable relationships with key internal and external personnel.
Ability to develop personnel.
